`Despite` অর্থ `সত্ত্বেও` এবং এর পরে noun/noun phrase বা gerund ব্যবহৃত হয়। `the cold weather` একটি noun phrase হওয়ায় `despite the cold weather` সঠিক। `Although` ব্যবহার করলে পরে একটি পূর্ণ clause প্রয়োজন।
